As the
sun slowly settled on the streets of Lagos, vehicles were already zooming to
their respective destinations, hawkers on the streets, children walking to
school, pedestrians minding on their business and for me, I inched on home to
my mother. My heart
was still heavy towards her, even when I knew I was already an overnight
